2007 Initiatives

The tremendous support of our clients has resulted in outstanding growth for the Firm. As a result the following changes are occurring in order to realise the vision of being the leading providers of financial services to small/medium sized Australian business owners, effective from today, 21 December 2006:

NEW NAME - The firm name will change from Kelly + Bullock here in North Sydney to Kelly + Partners, allowing for continuity of branding across the firm's activities, and recognising the growing group of Directors being developed within and drawn into the business. The original Founding Directors of Brett Kelly and Craig Bullock continue to work tirelessly in the service of clients and managing the resulting growth in the firm.

NEW WEBSITE – The firm has launched a new website that provides further information and resources for clients. A username and password will be provided to clients in the new year for an exclusive resources section; as well as new event listings (see www.kellypartners.com.au).

NEW OFFICE – The firm in North Sydney’s new address is Level 4, 73 Walker Street. The office will accommodate 14 professional staff and an administrator providing the accommodation standard required to attract leading professional employees as well as catering for the firm's growth.

NEW LOCATIONS - The firm in North Sydney will re-brand a firm, Scott Elwin & Co (owned by Brett Kelly and Scott Elwin) to become Kelly + Partners at their location of Erina on the Central Coast. The Central Coast presence will increase the depth of talent in the team available to clients as well as extend the proprietary integrated methodology preferred by business owners into the booming Central Coast region.

The firm is also pleased to announce the securing of a Melbourne presence. More news to come.

NEW APPOINTMENTS – Ada Poon, Associate Director in North Sydney will be welcomed as a Director from 1 July, 2007. Adam Gregory has been welcomed as an Associate Director in the Central Coast office.

NEW WEALTH MANAGEMENT SOLUTION – The firm is also keen to announce that a unique Wealth Management offering is being progressed for client roll out in early 2007. We have made an application to the ASIC to hold an Australian Financial Services License that will let us deliver a Financial Planning service that aligns with our philosophy of delivering the best value available in the market to our clients. This license required a separate entity, Kelly + Partners Financial Services, that can service clients from each of our office locations in an integrated manner.

NEW SPECIALIST SPORTS MANAGEMENT DIVISION – The firm is also pleased to announce that we have partnered with FlyingStart (see www.flyingstart.com.au) to offer a sports management solution to NRL Players (see www.kellypartners.com.au/nrl), Kelly + Partners NRL Player Management. This assistance, having been requested of the Firm, has been formalized and now includes the involvement of Wayne Pearce, the former Australian Rugby League captain.

BATTLE FOR TALENT – Like the businesses of most of the clients of the firm, the biggest challenge is recruiting the best people in the industry. All of the above initiatives are directed to ensuring that the Firm grows its operations and reputation to ensure its continued ability to attract and retain the best talent in the market; allowing great service delivery to clients.

These initiatives are all directed to continue to strengthen the service offered to our clients and develop the career opportunities of team members.
