Brett Kelly is the Founder and CEO of Kelly+Partners (ASX:KPG), a professional speaker, and a best-selling author of four books. Brett holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of New South Wales. He is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent with more than 25 years of commercial and professional accountancy experience. Brett specialises in assisting individuals and families who own private businesses.

Brett founded Kelly+Partners Chartered Accountants in 2006 and, over 18 years, has grown the business to become the private business specialist accounting network and the 21st largest firm in Australia. Brett has expanded Kelly+Partners from two greenfield offices in Sydney to 37 operating businesses across 34 locations in Australia, the United States, Hong Kong, and India. The total team consists of more than 550 people, including 93 partners, who service over 23,000 SME clients. The holding company, Kelly Partners Group Holdings Limited (ASX: KPG), successfully listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 21 June 2017 and has subsequently been made available through the OTCQX® Best Market under the symbol “KPGHF”.

In 1997, at age 22, unemployed, with no money, journalistic experience, connections, or publisher, Brett picked himself up, interviewed 34 leading Australian achievers, including Bob Hawke, Malcolm Turnbull, Poppy King, Gerry Harvey, Kathryn Greiner, Ray Martin, Imelda Roche, Jeff Kennett, Pat O’Shane, and Peter Brock. He raised the funds, gathered the expertise to self-publish ‘Collective Wisdom’ in 1998, and made it a national best-seller.
