Stephen is one of the founding partners of Kelly+Partners Bendigo which opened its doors as MGR Accountants in 1984.

He is responsible for management systems and support, including compliance and Quality Assurance of process systems. Stephen is also an expert business adviser to enterprises across many industries; including Construction, Trades, Professional Services and Primary Production. He acts as a consultant and adviser to clients, working with them to understand their business goals and help them achieve their organisational objectives.

He specialises in matters such as business structures, systems development, growth, human resources, cash flow, profitability, grants, government subsidies and compliance consulting. Stephen has been involved in many of his clients starting out in business and becoming successful medium to large enterprises.

Peter Mulqueen is one of the founding partners of Kelly+Partners Bendigo which opened its doors as MGR Accountants in 1984.

Peter spends his days providing advice to clients on tax planning matters, business valuations and a wide range of business consulting issues.
Peter views the tax return as the start of the client process not the end and is dedicated to providing strategies and solutions to help clients grow their business, their profits and their wealth. As a consequence, the firm has evolved over the past 35 years and is now a full financial services firm.

Peter belongs to a family that is in its fifth generation of funeral directing in the local Bendigo region and his specialist knowledge of the funeral industry has earnt him the 'expert' reputation. He presents at a number of industry association conferences and advises many funeral businesses throughout Australia.  

Peter’s objective with his clients is to solve their tax and financial problems, help them identify and capitalise on opportunities and ensure they avoid the pitfalls. According to Peter the best thing about the firm is the loyal team who are committed to achieving the best outcomes for clients.

Outside of the office Peter enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and table tennis. He is also on a number of committees and boards including The OTIS Foundation, Catholic College School Board & Finance Committee and the Holy Rosary Parish Council.

Anthony grew up in Castlemaine and graduated from Latrobe University, Bendigo in 1998. His first graduate position was with KPMG in Melbourne in early 1999. After working out that Melbourne life was not for him, he returned to regional Victoria and joined MGR in late 1999 which is now Kelly+Partners Bendigo as of March 2022.

Anthony became a Partner in July 2009 and has vast experience and skill in providing advice regarding business structures, cash flow, profitability, tax and management consulting. He works with many small to medium enterprises and has developed expertise across several industries including the building trades, professional services, wholesale and retail, primary production, entertainment and hospitality.

Anthony enjoys being a 'go to person for his clients. They contact him in relation to a broad range of business and taxation matters and he strives to deliver practical advice and solutions. Outside of work Anthony enjoys spending time with his young family, keeping fit, playing indoor cricket, going to the movies and travelling.

After completing his university degree at La Trobe University in Bendigo, Warren started his career at KPMG in Melbourne. He had more than 10 years of public practice experience before commencing with MGR Accountants in 2010 which officially became Kelly+Partners Bendigo in 2022.

Warren is the Partner in Charge of the Audit Division and has vast experience and skill in the management and execution of both internal and external audit services  as well as self managed superannuation fund audits. His clients span a broad range of industries and sectors including government, Not for Profit, Education, sporting clubs, aged care facilities and trust account audits for solicitors and real estate agents.

Warren enjoys working with a diverse client base that spans a wide variety of industries and outside the office he loves sport including golf and football. He keeps fit by running marathons and half marathons and enjoys spending time with his two sons attending Carlton Football Club matches and swimming in the backyard pool.

Annemarie has over 15 years of accountancy experience, joining the Bendigo team in 2011 after working in Melbourne and Perth for five years. Annemarie is a Chartered Accountant having completed her studies while working in Perth.

She is responsible for assisting clients with their reporting obligations with the ATO and other industry bodies. Annemarie also assists in the preparation of business valuations and the provision of strategic business advice to both new and existing clients. This involves understanding a variety of businesses and the different challenges they face.

Outside of work she's a busy mother of two children. Annemarie is passionate about healthy wholesome food for her children and building memories to last them a lifetime.
