John has more than 29 years experience in accounting public practice and his areas of expertise include taxation, business structuring and management, superannuation, and audits. John's clients include businesses in both primary production and commercial enterprises.  

As a registered Company Auditor, John is responsible for the audits of several local registered clubs, listed and unlisted companies,  large private companies, incorporated associations, private companies and superannuation funds.

 John is also responsible for the internal audits of a large grower association which receives significant government funding, aged care providers and a large private agricultural company.

Geoffrey has been working as an Accountant for more than 22 years and his current client portfolio includes investment, agriculture, retail, wholesale, manufacturing and hospitality. With a strong knowledge of current taxation and superannuation laws, as well as extensive business development skills, Geoffrey prides himself on great client service and making finance easy to understand.

Geoffrey was a past President and Chair of the Riverina Branch of CPA Australia which gave him the opportunity to work with CPA members and other business professionals to improve services to clients and the community.

Allan has more than 30 years experience in public practice accounting working with a diverse range of businesses across a number of industries including primary production, retail, hospitality and professional services. Allan's knowledge of effective superannuation and taxation management is a valuable asset. Allan strives to meet clients' needs and to ensure that their expectations are exceeded.

Angela has worked in accounting for more than 20 years and specialises in tax and assisting small businesses to succeed through effective management of their financial operations. Angela has extensive commercial experience both in internal roles and in public practice. With her strong interest in assisting businesses as they grow, Angela most enjoys providing the full range of accounting, taxation and business advisory to clients. She was also the first female President of the Riverina Branch of CPA Australia.

John commenced with Higgins Plos Consulting in 1999 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2004.  John's work primarily involves income tax with an interest in the operation of trusts, application of GST legislation and FBT compliance matters.  Recently, John has been involved in the restructure of various entities and dealing with the succession planning issues that can arise in such situations.  John's clients are primarily made up of agricultural based family groups as well as a number of professional service firms.

Michael Harris has been meeting the accounting needs of our clients from a vast range of industries since joining PinnacleHPC in 2013 as a Graduate Accountant. In July 2019 Michael progressed to Principal status. Michael encompasses a deep understanding of agriculture and retail clients having grown up locally on an irrigated and dryland mixed farming enterprise as well actively co-owning and operating a successful local retail business. Michael is passionate about helping clients solve problems and building successful businesses, whilst giving back to the local community as he currently serves as Finance Director on a number of local boards. He holds a Bachelor of Business, Masters of Professional Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CA), as well as being a Xero Certified Advisor.

Karen commenced at PinnacleHPC in December 1999 and has extensive experience in accounting and finance, holding a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and Bachelor of Business (Accounting) qualifications. Karen's skills allows her to manage clients' superannuation and taxation affairs, together with specialising in helping clients with maximising their accounting software and problem solving.

Dianne has worked in accounting and finance since 2002 bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm. Dianne has experience in several software packages and is passionate about helping clients get the most out of their software.  She enjoys assisting clients to manage the challenges they face in their businesses and problem solving. Dianne specialises in taxation, assisting clients with their software packages and superannuation funds in both pension and accumulation phase with investments in real estate including water, shares, listed and unlisted trusts.  Dianne works with a variety of clients including farming entities – dry area cropping, irrigated cropping, livestock producers, citrus, nut and grape farmers.  Dianne also works with small business entities including retailers and hospitality businesses, those in the construction industry and consultant businesses.

Sally is a Business Services Manager and holds her Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting. Sally has considerable accounting and finance experience, assisting clients with their tax returns, business activity statements and any general accounting matters for all types of business structures. Sally enjoys the friendly environment at PinnacleHPC and the challenges her current role presents.

Renae is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and is the firm's Audit Manager. Renae manages the completion of compliance and performance audits for a range of entities both large and small in the public and private sectors. Renae also manages the audit of self-managed superannuation funds and trust accounts.

Yvette commenced in November 2011 and holds certificates in HR, Frontline Management and WHS fields. Yvette has over 16 years' experience and extensive knowledge across numerous industries and occupations in industrial/workplace relations and employment, Fair Work and WHS compliance. Yvette works with various clients both locally and interstate as their designated Workplace Relations & Employment Manager overseeing all of their human resource functions by way of providing ongoing advice, training and support to management and employees. Yvette is also an accredited Return to Work Coordinator and a Drug and Alcohol certified tester.
